Main forging Steel: White II Steel, Takefu V1, Bohler K990, Tamahagane

Mr. Tadashi Machida makes forged hunting knife, cooking knife, Japanese razor, and so much variety of cutlery, because he has great base of forging cutlery, lots of experiments, researches, and experiences. He has always checked up the blades that he has made with metal microscope. It is not only experiences. He study cutlery by science side too. This blade is White II Steel Damascus Blade. He usually put on Japanese style handle for the blade with Japanese woods, such as bamboo from over 100 years old house, or beautiful shaped small Japanese treefs branch. This one is without handle, and not sharpen yet. If you need sharp edges, I will sharpen it.

The total length of knife: 8 1/4h(210mm) The Knife weight is 2.0oz.

The spine side of heel width: 2mm (3/32h)

It should be no problem to use without handle ( it might be little bit small for big hand person). It can be nice to use as desk knife or small hunting knife after made own handle and blade cover.
