It is very rare extra long size Nakiri, probably, it is a custom order Nakiri. Normally, Nakiri is 165mm. We can see sometimes longer one as 180mm. It is one of my customer collections selling as consignment on our website. It is used very lightly, and it looks it is still in excellent condition. I sharpened the edge and polished little bit before taking the photos.
Shigefusa Kitaeji knife is an ideal blade knife that is harder to crook and easier to sharpen the blade, and the blade is very famous as super sharp edge.
Kitaeji (Damascus) style blade is made of holding over many times Jigane (soft iron) and low carbon steel(Hagane), and it is harder to crook the blade.
